Welcome Back to Wine & Whine!

Wine & Whine returned to the calendar after a fifteen month hiatus due to COVID. On Wednesday, August 18, 26 of our members and two guests met at the back patio of Betto’s Bistro for wine, conversation, and lots of fun (with very little whining).

It was a lovely evening, the perfect temperature for sipping wine and trying some of Betto’s delicious appetizers. All agreed that it was great to see friends in person – not over a zoom connection! The new hostess of Wine & Whine, Krisse Boursier, welcomed everyone and Marian Sacco and Suman Ganapathy updated all about our Morgan Hill branch. To get everyone moving around and connecting with each other, we played the game “Find someone who…” where each person had to fill in a card with names of people who fit different criteria (“someone who read the same book as you”. or “someone who has been in a hot air balloon”, etc). Krisse learned what a competitive group this is!

The first person to complete her card was Carol Holsgrafe and she won a highly coveted Wildflower Run t-shirt, while all who completed their cards got chocolates. The sounds of chatter and laughter drifted into downtown Morgan Hill as members enjoyed the evening of companionship.

You won’t want to miss the next Wine & Whine – to be held Wednesday, September 15, from 5:30 – 7:00, at 88 Keys – it will be held outside as well. And Wednesday night is karaoke night at 88 Keys! See you there!
