Piano: An All-Woman Show

Celebrate Women’s History Month with a program of 250 years of piano music by women composers presented by Brianna Conrey

Sunday, March 19, 2 pm at the home of branch member Jan Conrey

The program will include music from composers Elisabeth Claude Jacquet de la Guerre (1665-1729), Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel (1805-1847), Lili Boulanger (1893-1918), and Florence Price (1887-1953), as well as several others.

Refreshments will be served.

Brianna Conrey began the study of piano at the age of seven. She was a quarter-finalist at the 2016 Cliburn International Amateur Piano Competition. She is known for her elegantly expressive style, warm and inviting stage presence, and world-class musicianship. She calls “Piano-An All Woman Show” her pandemic project. She currently works at the American Institute of Mathematics (AIM) as Director of Special Projects.
