What better way to enjoy the holidays than an evening with friends, eating and laughing together? Twenty AAUW MH members and spouses attended the Limelight Theater’s presentation of “A Nice Family Christmas” in December and laughed till their sides hurt! The Limelight is an intimate cabaret style theater, and a delicious banquet of appetizers was shared by the group prior to the start of the play.

Members enjoy a day at the Legion of Honor.

The Arts Outing Interest Group is open to all AAUW MH members. Outings are suggested by members and arranged by Janet McElroy, chair.  In the past, groups have journeyed to San Francisco to see exhibits at the DeYoung and the Legion of Honor museums. We have also seen plays at South Valley Civic Theater as well as the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts.  Dinner or lunch is always a part of the outing!

If you have an exhibit at a museum, a play, or a movie you would like to see or a concert you would like to attend with friends, contact Janet McElroy. The event will be announced in the weekly email so interested members may sign up. Car pools will be arranged if necessary and, of course, a restaurant will be included as part of the occasion.
