Branch member Tammy Parker Selected for Leadership Morgan Hill, Class of 2022

Branch member, Tammy Parker, has been selected to attend Leadership Morgan Hill (LMH) Class of 2022. LMH is a local training and development program created to inspire future leaders to community service.

A member of AAUW Morgan Hill since 2016, Tammy has been the co-chair of the High School Scholarship Committee since 2018. She has assisted at the Wildflower Run in many roles – the 2K race (2016-2019), the Wildflower Fund membership letter outreach fundraiser since 2017, and also this year.

Tammy was active in the YES Interest Group from 2016-2020, and helped lead/host bimonthly meetings until it was disbanded. She loves to read and participates in the Afternoon Book Interest Group.

She is also active in the greater community, and has volunteered at the Taste of Morgan Hill, Mushroom Mardi Gras, Gilroy Garlic Festival, Spirit of Morgan Hill Softball, South Valley Civic Theatre, after-school math tutoring at Britton, Live Oak Band Boosters – Bingo, Pit Crew parent, Chaperone on Band trips, and the Emerald Regime Crab Feed.

Her other volunteering experiences include being a court appointed special advocate (CASA), Santa Clara County voter volunteer, and a Garlicky Group Poet. Community Police, Mushroom Mardi Gras beer tent, and at the Gilroy Garlic Festival for the Live Oak Emerald Regime.

Tammy will make a great ambassador for AAUW Morgan Hill and represent us in a positive light. Congratulations, Tammy! We wish you the very best.
