The YES group has been meeting for since 2010; some members have been with us from the start and others have come and gone, staying with us as long as needed. YES is an acronym for ‘You Evolving Spiritually.’ Our members include wonderful women of different beliefs and faiths, Catholic, Agnostic, Buddhist, Spiritual but not Religious, Christian, Hindu and so on. We gather in heart sharing community to deepen our understanding of our true nature and of each other. Our mandate is not to fix each other, but mutual support, oneness, and empowerment. We practice confidentiality and deep listening with nonjudgmental awareness, trusting that each woman’s own wisdom can arise in a loving container.

We have a model of rotating leadership and take turns in facilitating. We also take turns in meeting at each other’s homes at 7 pm on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. The host typically provides refreshments for our social time after the meeting, from 8:30 pm to 9 pm. We adopt a book for an extended period and do a deep dive into it. in 2018, our book was The Book of Joy, by the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. In 2019, we are exploring enlightenment and abundance, with The Jewel of Abundance: Finding Prosperity Through the Ancient Wisdom of Yoga.
