President's Message

I wish you a very Happy New Year! I hope you found the time to unwind and enjoy meaningful moments with your loved ones during the holiday season.

Dear Branch Members,

LOOKING BACK AT 2023

The exceptional experiences that defined 2023 gave us much to be grateful for in our branch. We celebrated being 2023 Chamber of Commerce Non-Profit of the Year; we had a very successful 40th Wildflower Run; we continued to impact our community through programs, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Climate Education Action groups, scholarships and grants; and we welcomed wonderful new members, as well as cherishing those who have been with us for many years.

Kudos to our hardworking board, committee chairs and committee members, interest and action group chairs. Thank you to each and every one of you, dear members, for making it such a flagship year, and for your support of our cause of equity for all.

We also experienced moments of loss and sorrow, both in our branch and globally. Here’s to hoping for a more positive and hopeful year ahead.

LOOKING AHEAD to 2024

This new year, I have a special request of each of you: The nominating committee and Leadership Development Team are seeking leaders for many positions, especially for the Wildflower Run. I hope you will consider helping out and taking on a new role in the branch. Assistance and resources are always available. It is working collectively that has made our branch thrive. Welcome to 2024!

Suman Ganapathy, President
