Do you know a college student who may be interested in NCCWSL 2024?

Last year, AAUW Morgan Hill selected Chinazom Ofobuki, a student at Gavilan College, to attend the May 2023 National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL) at the University of Maryland, College Park: “Engage, Learn and Lead: Step into Your Power.”

The nearly 800 college women were joined by AAUW National staff for programing designed to ignite their future careers and initiate advocacy in the local communities.

The three full days of training included a STEM and other workshops, an evening in Washington DC, seminars, and the keynote speaker, Minda Harts, author of the book “You are More than Magic.”

On the final evening, “Women of Distinction” awards were presented to six incredible young women. For their bios, go HERE. 

A very tired Chinazom returned home full of stories about all she learned and the women she met. She is very thankful to our branch for providing her this opportunity.
