Enjoying the Wildflowers

Swaths of Fiddleneck, Lupine, and Linanthus in Henry Coe Park

With the Wildflower Run is over, it is time to appreciate the nearby wildflowers.

We are fortunate in Morgan Hill to have so many local trails and parks. Henry Coe State Park, in our backyard, is the largest state park in Northern California. A great way to get to know Santa Clara County Parks. is to take the annual #PixInParks Challenge … visit specific locations in seven of the county’s parks, take a selfie at each, and earn a tee-shirt.

AAUW Morgan Hill is also restarting our hiking interest group. To learn more and join the group, go to hiking interest group. This is another great opportunity to explore new vistas!

The California super bloom has made our local parks and open spaces particularly spectacular, with swaths of flowers across the hillsides. These flower photos are from late March and early April.
