Marian Sacco:
Since joining our branch in 2008, Pat has contributed tirelessly. She served as Wildflower Run Chair, Branch Secretary, WFR Volunteer Coordinator, and Membership Committee Co-chair. In 2020 Pat was our Morgan Hill Community Foundation’s Philanthropy Honoree. This video will show why. https://youtu.be/yOdn85dggYk
Krisse Boursier:
Pat always helps with enthusiasm. She has been an invaluable resource, sharing knowledge of branch history, thoughtful insights, practical solutions, and wise counsel. Her dedication, generosity, and commitment have enriched our branch in so many ways. “Pat, you will be greatly missed.”
Deb Buchanan:
Pat is a cherished AAUW friend whose kindness and generous spirit touch us all. Her thoughtful presence, ready smile, and commitment to friendship have enriched our branch in many ways. Pat leaves with our heartfelt thanks and best wishes for every happiness in this next chapter.
Lori Mains:
I will always remember Pat’s generosity of spirit. In 2016, as I recovered from meningitis and learned to hear through a cochlear implant, some friends (understandably) fell away. Pat ran towards me! On walks she patiently turned towards me enunciating her words, helping me practice nascent hearing. By now I know Pat well and truly appreciate her leadership skills and kindness to others.
Carol O’Hare:
Pat served on the Leadership Development Team and was instrumental in planning the 2015 workshop on Effective Communication where we discussed “uptalk” and “sorry,” AND where Joan Ensign showed how to hold the microphone like you were licking an ice cream cone!
Joan Ensign:
Pat is an avid supporter of Smart eGals and knows iPhones and other devices. No problem is unsolvable! We’ll miss her exuberant spirit!
Marian Sacco again:
And the rattlesnake? Pat knows critters and nature. When hiking, if she says “STOP! And back up slowly” – we obey! Pat’s eagle eyes and ears heard a rattle and knew what to do. Her leadership and knowledge will be missed.
