Anahita Yazhi was born in Iran but moved to Sacramento with her family when she was in high school. She then attended university in France and at UC Davis. She has lived and worked in the Bay Area since 2014 but only moved to MH in 2021. Anahita works full time as a technical program manager (mechanical engineer). She keeps very busy with her three kids (all under 6!), husband, and Hazel, their dog. When she has time, her hobbies include painting, ceramics, reading autobiographies, building remote-control airplane, and volunteering. She is looking forward to meeting like-minded women.

Julie Page Griffoul and her family moved to Morgan Hill eight years ago. She is married to her high school sweetheart, and they have two daughters and a beautiful new granddaughter. Her hobbies include art in many forms – water color painting, drawing, and linocut. She is also interested in gardening and hiking. Now that she is retired from private business ownership and teaching/educational leadership roles, Julie is looking forward to meeting new people and giving back to the community. She has already taken on a Wildflower Run chair position. She learned about AAUW from a friend.
