After many years of dedicated service as Chair of the By-Laws/Governance Committee, Carol O’Hare is passing the torch to our enthusiastic new member, JoAnne Markowska. JoAnne brings a wealth of experience from her career as a counselor at Live Oak High School, where she supported students in navigating graduation requirements and college admissions. She’s already diving into the important work of updating and refining our branch by-laws, policies, and procedures. Welcome, JoAnne!

Carol, however, isn’t going far. She has graciously agreed to serve as our AAUW Fund Chair—a role that’s been open for more than a year. With her deep knowledge of AAUW National and our Morgan Hill branch, Carol is the perfect person to lead this important effort. We’re so fortunate to have her continue in a key leadership role.

And finally, we’re thrilled to announce that Julie Page Griffoul is now coordinating our Morning Mingle gatherings. With her warm spirit and welcoming smile, Julie hosted her first Mingle this month—and it was a wonderful success. Don’t miss this cheerful way to start your day on the second Thursday of each month!
