President's Message

Dear Members,

I am honored to step into the role of President, AAUW Morgan Hill, and excited for the work ahead of us. AAUW has a powerful legacy of advancing equity for women and girls through research, education, and advocacy. Our commitment to our mission is reflected in all aspects of our work.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to our outgoing President Krisse Boursier for her dedication and leadership. We had a very successful Wildflower Run and Member Giving Campaign this year. We received the Branch Activity of the Year Award and were recognized at the 2026 AAUW California Annual Event. Scholarships were awarded, a vibrant Young Women Leaders conference was held, and we are looking forward to Tech Trek in July.

This year, I hope to focus on deepening our community partnerships and ensuring every member has an opportunity to get involved, through our scholarship programs, advocacy initiatives, interest groups, or local events.

Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment. Whether you attended a meeting, volunteered at an event, or supported our fundraising efforts, your involvement makes a difference. I am continually inspired by the dedication and passion of our members.

As we look ahead, I encourage you to stay engaged, invite others to learn about AAUW, and participate in the many activities planned for the coming months.

Please Join us for the 4th of July Parade with our new freshly painted Wildflower themed float, the Candidates Forums in September and our All Member Meet Up in October.

I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events. Together, we can continue to build a stronger, more equitable future for all.

Harpreet Vittal, Branch President
