Ways to Take Action

In a recent webinar for public policy chairs across the nation, national directors Barbara Price and Meghan Kissell, senior director of policy and member advocacy, outlined ways individual members can take action:

• Email your elected representatives.
• Sign up for Two-Minute Activist at www.aauw.org/act/two-minute-activist.
• Talk to local, state and national officials.
• Write letters to the editor.
• Sign up for Lobby Corps and state Lobby Days.
• Educate friends and family.
• Vote!
