2026 Earth Day Celebration

Join Us for a Fun, Friendly and Informative Earth Day Festival on April 25, 2026

Get ready to celebrate the planet in a big way! Morgan Hill’s 5th annual Earth Day Festival is coming up on Saturday, April 25, with a day full of activities, learning, and fun. The AAUW’s Climate Education and Action Committee is once again partnering with the City of Morgan Hill to promote climate awareness and practical action in our community.

The festival will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center, 17000 Monterey Road. Whether you’re looking to pick up eco-tips, enjoy live entertainment, or just spend a great day outdoors with the family, there’s something for everyone.
You’ll find games, hands-on educational stations, local food trucks, climate-focused vendors, live music, a huge plant and craft sale, and more.

Kids will find plenty to keep them busy. Come to the Kids’ Zone for face painting, planting seeds, and decorating flower pots or birdhouses. You can meet the Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation Center’s (WERC’s) live animal ambassadors and learn ways in which the community can help protect local wildlife. New this year will be the Climate Ecology Carnival Games, where fun and laughter will abound for the whole family.

Families and individuals can also enjoy visiting with our local beekeepers and their tiny pollinators; learn about fire safety in a fun way; and get straightforward advice from experts on recycling and composting, home electrification, EV cars, and much more.

This year’s special collaboration with the Santa Clara County Open Space Authority will give you the opportunity to learn about the milestones being achieved in our own Coyote Valley, a remarkable landscape located between San Jose and Morgan Hill that supports critical wildlife habitat, water management, archaeological treasures, agriculture and our economy.

Come out, enjoy the day, and pick up ideas on how you can make a difference for the environment.
