Help wanted

The Wildflower Fund Member Donation Campaign is a vital part of the branch fundraising that supports local scholarships and grants, Tech Trek, and national AAUW priorities. In 2025 members contributed almost $20,000 to the Wildflower Fund.
This is a team effort, and all work is done at home on your own schedule. The campaign generally goes from December to April.
Detailed job descriptions for these two important positions follow:
Campaign Coordinator
- Collaborate with team members to set financial goals for the year and how best to get the message out to the branch.
- Work with team members who are responsible for weekly eblast and newsletter articles, for the donation spreadsheet, and for labels for hard copy letters. Provide oversight and assistance as needed.
- Report progress to the board and Wildflower Run directors. Encourage board members to donate.
- Participate in deciding how Wildflower Funds are allocated.
- Work from home, no meetings to attend (unless you want to).
Donation Spreadsheet Manager
- Collect paper checks from the PO Box (or from a member who goes to the box) and receive Paypal information for online donations from ISPF-AAUW treasurer.
- Record donation information (date, name, amount, etc.) on Excel spreadsheet.
- Mail paper checks to ISPF treasurer with completed deposit slip.
- Send emails to donors with thank-you/receipt letter. Member email addresses are available in membership directory.
- Work from home on your own schedule.
