Adult leaders include Nancy Altman, Julie Schwartz, Charlene Wiltsee and Wendy Thowdis.  We meet in the Poppy Jasper Room at the Cultural and Community Center on the second Monday of each month. 

The adults serve as facilitators and the group is run by the girls.  Group leader, Senior Sobrato student, Ishq Kandra, is a phenomenal young woman who has clearly mastered leadership skills over her years in YWL, making the AAUW members’ lives very easy.  The girls plan to continue to organize and host an annual Youth Leadership Conference in the spring.
