Meet Our New Members

Lorraine Moos, 40 years in the U.S. (originally from Bombay), moved to Morgan Hill in 2019. An Executive Recruiter and Coach by profession, she works with Senior Leaders, and is passionate about empowering women. Married 40 years, with two grown kids and a joyful granddaughter. Enjoys swimming, walking, music, cooking, and meditation. Planning retirement in 2026, she is exploring ways to stay engaged, including connecting and contributing through AAUW.                                  Â

Alexa Budde graduated with her DVM degree from the University of California at Davis in 1978, and owns her own veterinary practice in Hayward. She has previously worked as the head ER doctor in a five-doctor practice in San Jose, and is a past president of the Alameda chapter of the California Veterinary Medical Association. In her spare time, Alexa takes care of her horses and likes to spend time with her two daughters. Â

Betty Davis Crawford is a widow, and has lived in Morgan Hill for two years. She has two grown children who are raising families of their own, and she loves to spend time with them. Betty is a retired teacher who worked her way through college in the hospitality industry. Betty enjoys volunteering for worthy causes, striving to protect the rights of others. When she’s not advocating, she’s pursuing creative outlets of all kinds.

Kristen Anderson graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a major in psychology and a minor in studio art. After working with children in education for more than 10 years, Kristen became an event coordinator, honing her skills setting up memorable events in first a corporate setting and then a winery in Napa Valley. Kristen enjoys reading, art, travel, food and cooking, as well as volunteering at the Morgan Hill Senior Center.

Christine Morris graduated from the University of Oregon with degrees in psychology and philosophy.  She and her husband and their 3-year-old son have recently moved to Gilroy from San Jose. Christine works at the University of California at San Francisco, and her husband owns a local taekwondo studio in Gilroy. Christine joined AAUW hoping to make new friends and help our community in the process.
