Cloudy skies and intermittent, light rain didn’t dampen the joy of running. Volunteers and runners enjoyed the scenery and improved safety along the new route. Runners also appreciated parking area changes and the early-opening Finish Fest providing coffee, snacks, live music, and a gathering spot closer to starting lines.

Financially, we met our goals. 1,118 runners registered, fewer than last year, but with a small price increase, total registration fees were comparable. Corporate Sponsorship topped last year’s by a small, but helpful margin, and Member Fundraising is doing well. We will be able to fund our scholarships, community grants and leadership programs!
