2025 Wildflower Run Kick-off Meeting & Chair Updates

Mark your calendar for the first meeting of the 2025 Wildflower Run planning committee on Thursday, November 21, 7pm-9pm. One of our new branch members, Anita Connor, has generously offered to be the monthly meeting host. Her lovely home is in San Martin. Our big event is on March 30, 2025. Our meetings will be via Zoom and in-person. 

We welcome these new committee chairs and volunteers: 

• Kids 2K & Fun Run chair: Carol Ferri assisted previously, and we welcome her experience and strong background working with children and parents.

2024 Fun Run participants

• Muscle in the Morning co-chairs: Robyn Carrillo and Karen Shakill, both new members, have stepped up and will have Vicky Reader’s expert guidance plus their own strong organizing skills and experience working with youth.
• Parking chair: Julie Page Griffoul, another new member, is taking on a challenging tactical task where her leadership skills are invaluable. She’ll be guided by Heather Poore.

• Finish Fest co-chair: Tanaya Rose, a new member with an operations skill set, is ideal for our busy FF venue, piloted by Krisse.

• Registration committee: Liz Panetta-Melone, together with Susan Gabbard (School Competition chair), will be working to increase the number of schools participating in the “Runner Duckie” event.
