Meet Our New Members

Leila Reyes, a graduate of the University of Indiana, has a Master in Social Work.

She has her own business and specializes in helping her clients create and maintain their own relational health. She has even written a book on the subject. She loves to play pool, travel, and she collects and displays yard art.  Gardening is also a favorite pastime of hers. A resident of Morgan Hill for three years, she joined our branch to meet a dynamic group of educated women and to give back to her community.

Michelle Robleto has lived in Morgan Hill for seven years.

She and her husband have two teenage daughters. She attended the University of Hawaii (BS, Political Science) and is a veteran of the US Army National Guard. She has spent her career working in cybersecurity across the military, NASA, Stanford, and big tech, and recently launched her own cybersecurity company. In her downtime, she enjoys reading mystery novels, meditation, and photography. She is interested in becoming more involved with the community and other local women.

Laura Schenkelberg grew up in Tucson, Arizona and attended Fort Hays State University in Kansas (BA, Elementary Education).

She has lived in Germany, Oklahoma, and Washington State but has been in Morgan Hill for the last 35 years. Laura has three adult children; she enjoys tennis and pickleball, traveling and gardening.  She is interested in AAUW’s Young Women Leaders and is looking forward to meeting new people.

Other new members who recently joined AAUW include Deborah Africa, Diana Jimenez, Daniela Martinez, and Sherry Murray. Look for more information about them in the next newsletter.
